The phosphorus collective came about when members Rebecca and Anna were visiting Liz in Devon to read at Uncut poets. After a great eve, a chat on the beach the following day over an ice cream led to the concept of Phosphorus being born.

Phosphorus is a collective that celebrates women writers from all walks of life, Phosphorus was created in the spirit of championing and supporting each other’s creative works, furthermore to develop events, publications, collaborative dialogue and more.

The turn out for the event filled the space and a good night was had by all, before ending the night with a few drinks courtesy of Audible and good chat, much inspired by the pieces read on the night.
